DAV Media Provide Aerial Cinematography Services for New UK Mini-Series ‘Romeo. Hotel. Eleven'
Project Overview
Kicking off 2025 with a bang, DAV Media provided aerial cinematography for the exhilarating four-part mini-series Romeo. Hotel. Eleven. The series, starring Rishi Nair – known for his roles in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks and as Alphy Kotteram in Grantchester – and featuring heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker, demanded precise and innovative filming techniques to capture its high-tension narrative.
Cinematic Drone Shots
DAV Media executed aerial cinematography for the following scenes in the mini-series:
- Disoriented Awakening Scene: Filmed at a roundabout in Bewbush, Crawley, featuring Rishi Nair’s character waking up drugged and disoriented, with only a mobile phone strapped to his chest as his clue to survival.
- Kidnap Van Tracking: A dynamic tracking sequence of a van moving through the woods, captured at Wilding Wood Studios.
- Van Explosion: The climactic moment of the kidnap van exploding, facilitated by the special effects team, also at Wilding Woods Studios.

Kidnapping scene: shot at the Wilding Wood Studio – 65 acres of raw, untamed woodland, fields, barns and a fully equipped greenscreen room.
